Although the annual fair as we know it may have been cancelled, a mini version of the Schueberfouer is set to take place at the Glacis car park from 21 August to 12 September.
The Luxembourg City municipal council confirmed on Wednesday morning that plans were going ahead for the "Fun um Glacis" event.
In addition to the numerous fairground stalls which will be dispersed throughout the capital, a further 42 attractions will be installed at the car park in Limpertsberg.
Among them will be some of the world's largest transportable rollercoasters, including the Olympia Looping and the Alpina Bahn.
The "mini-Schueberfouer" will launch on 21 August, running until 12 September 2021. The fair will be open daily from 11am to 11pm and the rides will operate at their usual rates.
