The new laws will be up for vote in the Chamber of Deputies on Friday, and come into effect on Sunday if passed. They are set to continue the slow yet steady path away from the restrictive pandemic measures.
The Chamber of Civil Servants and Public Employees has now commented on the draft and emphasises that the introduction and process of self-testing in restaurants and bars is not defined clearly enough. The representative body laments a number of uncertainties, which all fail to be considered in the current version of the new laws.
Furthermore, the Chamber criticises the incoherent limitations of people in a single restaurant. As it stands, families will be able to celebrate in groups of up to 150 people, if everyone present has a negative rapid test.
The Chamber thus concludes that the risk of unequal treatment is too great with the amount of uncertainties left in the laws.
