The Luxembourg Central Bank published the latest evolution of interest rates for real estate and consumer loans. They remain at very low levels.
The Luxembourg Central Bank presented the latest lending rates granted to households by the country's banks on Friday.
According to its report, based on provisional figures, the variable rate for a home loan remained stable at 1.35% in February. It was also estimated at 1.35% in January 2021 and 1.32% in December 2020.
The fixed rate for a real estate project is slightly up at 1.25%.
Finally, for consumer loans, where the initial rate fixation period is more than 1 year and less than or equal to 5 years, the rate was 1.39% in February.
