According to RTL's information, Claude Wiseler is to become the next president of the Luxembourg Christian Social People's Party.

The CSV, which has been embroiled in internal affairs for several weeks, must now appoint a new president. And according to our information, Claude Wiseler, a well-known figure in the party, is ready to take over the presidency of the party following the resignation of Frank Engel last week.

The CSV national congress is scheduled for 24 April, which will not only vote for a new president, but also for a new secretary general of the party.

In recent days, the party has communicated its desire for an internal renewal. It further indicated that it wants to set up a team of politicians capable of bringing the main opposition party into the majority.

According to the information communicated to RTL, Claude Wiseler is currently in the process of forming his team and choosing the candidate who will run with him for secretary general.
