Openlux dossierLuxembourg 'absolutely up to standard' when it comes to tax regulations, says Gramegna

RTL Today
On Tuesday, Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna reacted to the accusations of the international press in the "OpenLux" dossier during a plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies.

In recent years, at the European level, Luxembourg has proactively participated in ensuring that common European and international rules are introduced for the exchange of information and the fight against money laundering, Gramegna stated. After the LuxLeaks affair, significant steps were taken in the direction of transparency and fiscal justice.

According to Minister of Justice Sam Tanson there is obviously still room for improvement in this particular area and all issues discovered by the press will be followed up.

The Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) agreed with the government’s position and welcomed its communication in this affair.
