Third vaccination dayNursing home staff vaccinated on Wednesday

Following hospital staff on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday was dedicated to nursing home staff. Sonja Kohnen and Claudia Holzwarth-Ernst, both working for the company Servior, were the first two individuals to get the jab. One in Vianden, the other in Diekirch.

The day was fully booked, according to Luc Feller, High Commissioner for National Protection. 800 people got the vaccine on the first two days already.

So far there has been no negative feedback on potential side effects, says Feller. His recommendation is, however, for patients receiving the vaccine to stay seated for 15 minutes following the jab to relax. Sufficient seats and space is available for this purpose.
