After the BCEE closed a number of branches back in March, BGL BNP Paribas is now following suit.
A statement released by the bank on Thursday informed that seven branches will be closing: Bettembourg, Clervaux, Esch-Benelux, Jardins de Luxembourg, Larochette, Vianden and Wasserbillig. "These branches, which were closed due to the lockdown, have not reopened since", the statement said.
Staff from these branches will be continue to serve their customers from other branches.
With this move, the bank is adapting to the changed habits of its customer base.
