The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 78 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.

No further deaths were reported, leaving the total for the Grand Duchy at 124.

7,072 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.

Five patients are in intensive care, a rise of one since Tuesday, while 30 are in standard care, same as yesterday.

The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) has risen to 0.80 from 0.67.

As of today, there are 1,211(+40) active infections in Luxembourg, while 7,174 (+38) patients have recovered from the virus.
