Morning temperatures of 9-11°C will soar to a peak of 26°C in the afternoon, settling at a balmy 18-20°C come evening.

The police have announced the following checks for this Friday:

Two in the morning:

• Bld Konrad Adenauer in Luxembourg City;
• Rue Principale in Nommern.

And two in the afternoon:

• Avenue de la Liberté in Differdange;
• An der Hunscht in Eschdorf.
