The Ministry of Foreign Affair specified in a statement that temporary entry restrictions for non-essential travel from third countries into Luxembourg will continue to apply until 15 September.
There are, however, a number of restrictions to the rule: third country nationals holding the “long-term resident” status, national visas or residence permit may still be able to enter Luxembourg.
Individuals who work in the health sector, seasonal workers, or international protection applicants are still allowed to enter the Grand Duchy.
Exceptions are also made for travelers who have their primary residence in a number of countries such as Algeria, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, Montenegro, and Serbia. The ministry added that this list would be continuously evaluated and updated when possible.
