The members of the Mountainbike-Downhill-Club from Reckange-sur-Mess, who are also not able to practice their sport at the moment, decided to voluntarily collect rubbish.
Disillusioned by the heaps of rubbish around their village, and since the lockdown does not allow for many activities anyways, they motivated each other to put their free time to good use.
A few days ago, half a dozen of them roamed through their local nature. Since they did not manage to collect every piece of rubbish in one go, they decided to go again on Friday.
Their cleaning spree through their village and surrounding areas took about 90 minutes. After that, they delivered the collected rubbish straight to the municipal depot.
