Bus companies have been affected by the health crisis. Sales-Lentz, however, chose to use their vehicles in a productive manner by transforming them into useful classrooms.
A video released by the Sales-Lentz company is making the rounds on social media.
The clip shows how the company is using empty vehicles stuck at the depot due to the coronavirus crisis.
Inspired by similar actions in Germany, Sales-Lentz has decided to support the education system by transforming a coach into a classroom.
The prototype visible in the video holds between 10 and 12 desks to accommodate a dozen pupils, with space for a teacher as well as storage for books and documents.
The windows of the bus can be decorated or painted. The vehicle is also equipped with a wireless computer network to encourage digital and interactive resources.
The mobile classroom has toilets corresponding to hygiene measures, and has been laid out in such a way as to respect the physical distancing regulations laid out by the government. Plexiglas panels have been installed between each desk as an additional security measure.
