China is to send six million masks and other medical equipment to Luxembourg, which is expected to arrive early next week.

China is to send over six million protective medical masks (five million of which are reserved for medical personnel), five million gloves, 50 ventilators and 150,000 protective glasses via a Cargolux plane, according to the Wort, who in turn are quoting minister Jean Asselborn (LSAP).

"China is helping us because we helped the Chinese and delivered medical supplies in February," he said. The cost of delivery, which will occur at the beginning of next week, was 14.5 million Euro.

South Korea is also contributing by sending over generic drugs used to treat cases of pneumonia, enough to treat 6,000 patients, Asselborn also told the Wort.
