Déi Gréng announced the list of candidates for the upcoming European elections on Wednesday evening.

The party's executive committee announced the six candidates put forward by the party's electoral commission.

Lead by Tilly Metz and Meris Sehovic, the other candidates are Tanja Duprez, Christian Kmiotek, Martin Kox, and Jessie Thill.

The list of candidates will be officially confirmed at the party's national congress on 16 March.

The party will also vote on its election campaign for the European elections at the congress.

The elections are due to take place on 26 May.

The average age of the list of candidates is 42.3 years. Kox is the oldest candidate at 71 and both Duprez and Thill are the youngest at 23. Of all the candidates, Metz is the only current MEP.
