Starting 13 January, the traditional Luxembourg City market will no longer take place on Place Guillaume II. Due to construction work, the stands need to move to Place Hamilius, where the market will be organised every Wednesday and Saturday. Around 40 street vendors usually come together to sell their goods. The temporary solution is however appreciated by most people for its central location.
Despite Covid restrictions, spirits at the market mostly remain high and the sector draws a positive conclusion after the year 2020.
