Residents on Rue Enz, Remich, heard unusual sounds at their home shortly after 10.30pm on New Year’s Eve. As one of them went to investigate, he came across two burglars in the stairwell. Although he was able to detain one of the suspects, the other became aggressive and injured the resident, before both suspects fled the scene.
In Bonnevoie, three burglars ran away from a property on Rue J-A Muller after the owner surprised them at around 3am on Sunday morning.
Elsewhere, burglars attempted to break into properties in Esch-sur-Alzette, Bissen and Kahler, but remained unsuccessful.
