Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs65 applications for international protection filed in February
The second month of the year thereby continues the downward trend already registered in January, when 67 such requests were filed.
The decrease in asylum demands is becoming more evident. In February 2020, 105 applications were filed, which was already half as much as the year before.
The majority of the 65 applications for international protection in Luxembourg were filed by Syrians.
