Domestic violence case in Bettembourg32-year-old man remanded in custody

On Saturday evening, local police received reports of a case of domestic violence in Bettembourg.

Upon enquiry, the public prosecutor’s office confirmed on Tuesday that an investigation is underway and that a 32-year-old man had been remanded in custody at Uerschterhaff prison in Sanem.

According to the police bulletin released on Sunday, responding officers discovered a man and a woman at the scene. The man, uncooperative during police intervention, was subsequently brought before an examining magistrate on Sunday morning.
