In a statement published on Friday afternoon, the Ministry of Health confirmed that none of the monkeypox patients had been hospitalised to date.

Some 15,926 cases of monkeypox have been recorded across 38 European countries - an increase of 2,883 over the last week, according to the ECDC and WHO. The majority (41%) are people aged between 31 and 40, and 99.1% of patients are male.
The Ministry of Health issued a reminder to protect against the spread of the virus, recommending regular hand washing, avoiding sharing bedsheets or towels with infected people, and using protection during sexual intercourse.
