In accordance with a law dating back to the year 2000, the government is committed to taking responsibility in the event that a person dies or suffers permanent physical damage following a mandatory or state-recommended vaccination.

To date, three people have been compensated after suffering permanent disability as a result of the swine flu vaccine, following the outbreak in 2009 and 2010.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that seven people have submitted requests for government compensation following the coronavirus vaccine, with their files currently under review.

Minister of Health Paulette Lenert said the department did not have precise data on how many people in Luxembourg have suffered long-lasting vaccine damage as a result of the Covid jab.

“I don’t have exact figures yet,” Lenert told RTL. “There is also a procedure where we analyse the potential relationship between a person’s symptoms and the vaccine. The Health Directorate is working alongside our counterparts in Nancy (France), where cases are analysed on an individual basis. There are currently 36 cases where serious damage has been reported, but as far as I know, none of these have concluded to date.”

The affected cases reported a number of issues, including muscle or joint pain, severe fatigue, neurological disorders, and heart rhythm disorders.
