An attempted burglary in rue du Stade in Belvaux around 4.50pm on Monday ended with the fleeing perpetrators apprehended by police. The two underage girls had initially given false personal data, but could later be identified. They were taken to the juvenile prison in Dreiborn.
A resident in rue des Romains in Wasserbillig was woken by noise around 5am and saw two young people running off towards the Sauer. He noticed a window had been forcefully opened and various valuables were missing. The forensic team were on site, but the burglars have not been found.
On rue Henri Pensis in Gasperich, a number of basements in an apartment building were broken into and a variety of items purloined. The break in was only discovered on Tuesday morning.
