During the City Breakfast on Wednesday, Luxembourg city Mayor Lydie Polfer announced that beginning Thursday, 275 new parking places on two floors will be available at the Knuedler car park.
The car park project is expected to be completed in 2023 with a total of 750 parking spaces.
Beginning tomorrow, the Fort Wedell and Fort Neippberg car parks in the Gare neighbourhood will also offer two hours of free parking on weekdays instead of one. On weekends, motorists will continue to benefit from four hours of free parking.
