The victim sustained severe injuries after the fall, requiring immediate hospitalisation following first aid treatment. However, the 27-year-old man died from his wounds on Monday evening.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and the Criminal Investigation Department (SPJ) of the Grand Ducal police were on site to clarify the cause of the fatal accident.
