16 officers were stationed in the area, not only to observe motorists as part of their winter safety campaign, but also to keep an eye out for potential break-ins around the town.
Over the course of two hours, 22 motorists were pulled up for infractions on Route de Remich. Some were stopped for using their mobile at the wheel, while others were found without valid licences, or carrying passengers without seatbelts.
The police will continue to conduct their road safety campaign with regular checks on roads around the country.
