
The first accident occurred shortly before 7 pm on Sunday evening on boulevard de la Pétrusse in the capital. A drunk driver crashed into a stationed car at the side of the road, an impact which damaged two further cars. While the driver was brought to a hospital for a medical check following the accident, authorities revoked his license.
Shortly thereafter, another drunk driver was spotted in Luxembourg City, this time in rue Goethe. He lost his license after displaying reckless road conduct. Twenty minutes later in Belvaux, yet another drunk driver caused an accident with a stationed car.
Around 10.20 pm, a car crashed into a wall in rue de Garnich in Hivange. One person was injured.
On Monday morning at 9.30 am, a driver crashed into a tree on the N12 near Grosbous.
