Once the extension is complete, the tram will run from LuxExpo to Lycée de Bonnevoie via Pont Buchler as of September 2022.

The tracks were produced by Arcelor Mittal in Rodange and are being assembled by a Belgian company.

The new leg will include two additional stops, ""Leschte Steiwer” and “Bouneweg”.

60,000 passengers make daily use of the tram, peaking at 67,000 passengers during rush hour.
