Our mission here at RTL Today is to bring our readers the latest local and international news, while keeping an eye and an ear on the expat community to help answer any questions they may have. Translators are a crucial part of this, as they help bring the wealth of information and news published in Luxembourgish and French to our English readers. We truly couldn’t operate without them.
We have a stellar team of translators in place already, but we are looking for 1-2 additional linguistically blessed individuals to join them.
Working on a freelance basis means that you only take on the shifts that suit your schedule, while being a fully integrated part of the team. We are open to both Luxembourg-based and remote freelancers for this position, so long as you are able to work during normal business hours. Shifts are usually between 2 and 5.5 hours.
Joining us as a translator does not limit you to translation. While that will be the core part of your job, we also know that many of the people who join us as translators have other writing ambitions. We are always keen to work with you on that as well, to help you develop your writing and bring it to a wider audience.
