As Luxembourg’s leading news organisation, we strive to make sure everyone who lives in the Grand Duchy has access to the information they need as and where they need it. That wouldn’t be possible without expertly designed, developed, and maintained platforms - which is precisely why we are looking for someone like you (hopefully).

With the continued growth of our product offer and online presence, the time has come for us to add another member to our digital development team. We are looking for an experienced developer to join us, with the ability to work both independently and as part of our development team, and who can deliver to spec but also suggest innovative solutions and approaches.

You will be part of an equally experienced team which is already in place, and you are joining us at an exciting time of change innovation as we are in the midst of developing and implementing a host of new back- and front-end solutions.

Your tasks

· Develop and maintain robust and responsive mobile applications and websites using React / React Native.

· Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

· Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components seamlessly.

· Write clean and easily maintainable code.

· Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues promptly to maintain optimal performance of our applications and websites.

· Stay updated on technological trends and advancements to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.

Your profile

These are all basic requirements of the job.

· Experience with JavaScript development and good knowledge of React and React Native.

· Good understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS (SASS) and PHP.

· Familiarity with databases (SQL) and RESTful API integration.

· Ability to clearly communicate and discuss ideas & concepts.

· Experience of using Git in a working environment.

· Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is required, knowledge of French and Luxembourgish will be an asset.

Bonus skills

These are “nice-to-haves,” but not required.

· Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

· Experience with Next.js.

· Experience with Swift and Kotlin.

· Experience in continuous integration and delivery systems.
