Amazon will launch their Echo devices for Luxembourg on 28 July 2021. As part of the launch, Amazon sought partners in Luxembourg to provide specific content for these services.
RTL is the official news partner for Amazon Luxembourg.
Customers will be able to receive news updates from RTL, RTL Today and RTL 5minutes in the respective languages straight from the launch.
To listen to these updates, simply give Alexa one of the following commands:
„Alexa, Was ist meine tägliche Zusammenfassung?“
„Alexa, Was sind die Nachrichten?“
„Alexa, quel est mon flash quotidien?“
„Alexa, quelles sont les infos?“
„Alexa, play my Flash Briefing“
„Alexa, what’s my Flash Briefing?“
RTL.lu Skill offers users the option to listen to RTL’s selection of web-radio stations. Simply give one of the following commands:
“Alexa, starte RTL.lu”
“Alexa, starte GOLD von RTL.lu”
“Alexa, starte RTL LX von RTL.lu”
Skill also allows users to ask Alexa to identify the song being played, ask for weather forecasts and request live traffic updates.
Communication between the user and Alexa is available in three different languages: French, English and German, as Alexa does not speak Luxembourgish yet.
The services above will be offered free of charge. Amazon Echo devices can be purchased online from Amazon direct.
