The TF-19 WASP is made from carbon fibre and can shoot targets with flames from 25 feet (just shy of 8 metres) away. The company promotes the WASP saying that it ''is built to withstand all sorts of conditions, both cold and hot’’. A gallon (3.7 litres) of fuel allows users to shoot flames for up to 100 seconds.

What might sound scary now, was actually built for industrial use. According to the company the flamethrower can be used to ''clear vital infrastructure, ignite remote vegetation, and eliminate pests.’' With a cost of $1,500 the flamethrower turns out to be rather expensive.
