Vasiliki is the managing director of Girls in Tech and an experienced Scrum Master and Software Engineer. As a woman in tech, she has always felt the need to learn from others, and fight the lack of confidence that kept surrounding her. As GIT Managing director, she is committed to supporting women in tech, right here, in the Grand Duchy.
She recently stopped by RTL Today Radio to talk to Melissa about Girls in Tech, ahead of the organisation’s upcoming event for International Women’s Day (IWD). Vasiliki told Melissa that since the last time they saw each other in June 2022, Girls in Tech grew as an organisation, expanding their team, organising empowering workshops for women, and being very proactive in order to continue raising awareness and supporting women in the tech industry.
They talked about upcoming boot camps, events for young kids, people who are interested in volunteering, and even a big upcoming collab with Goodyear, so stay tuned!

Every year on the 8th of March, the world celebrates International Women’s Day (IWD). It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
This year, the theme is #EmbraceEquity, which has prompted Girls in Tech to embrace the power of all the organizations in order to increase awareness on the relevant topic of Gender Inclusion.
