
Besides speaking to employees at the Amazon HQ in Luxembourg, the boss of the world’s largest e-commerce site also met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
Bettel posted pictures of the meeting on LinkedIn, saying:
“Welcome to Luxembourg, Andy Jassy. Amazon keeps growing and so does Europe’s digital economy. Luxembourg has become a central part in Amazon’s global network, a place where cutting-edge products are developed. Thank you for the open dialogue.”
Amazon has over 4,000 employees in the Grand Duchy, making it amongst the top five national employers.
