With a little bit of luck and some sunshine, this next month of May will truly showcase what Luxembourg has to offer.

Bringing their new album “All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade”, the Libertines, an English rock band formed in 1997 by frontmen Carl Barat and Pete Doherty, are performing at den Atelier in Hollerich. Tickets are sold out, but you can still join this competition run on Today Radio for the last tickets available on Thursday.

A festival full of colour, amazing food and electronic beats returns to Kirchberg’s municipal park. One of Luxembourg’s leading electronic music collectives, Lauter Unfug have curated a lineup with international as well as local talent. If you’re a fan of dance music and all round good vibes, get yourself down there this weekend - they even have a hippie village.

For all you bargain hunters and or anyone wishing to sell their unwanted treasures from the boot of your car, book a spot with the British Ladies Club (BLC) as soon as possible. Freshly returned from representing Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest, Tali will be performing her hit “Fighter” for the first time after being back from Sweden. CHAilLD, alongside Josh Island and lots of local bands of different genres are all performing at the music festival in park Clair-Chene in Esch.
Discover vintage items from all over Europe at this now regular Vinokilo event and buy them by weight at Luxexpo. Organisers promise fun and wine at this sustainable shopping experience.
The monthly Glacismaart is back. Taking place every 3rd Sunday of the month, it’s an unmissable meeting place for Sunday walkers, looking for fruits and vegetables, culinary delicacies, flowers and plants.

Join the thousands of visitors, pilgrims and residents of Echternach in the unique, UNESCO-listed tradition at the “Sprangprozessioun” or Echternach Hopping Procession. For the true American 1950s experience, Ciné Sura is organising “Drive-In Cinema” screenings at the Echternach Lake from Friday 24 May to Saturday 1 June. Entry is from 8pm, with the film starting around 9.454pm each evening. Programme details to follow.
