On 26 October, the Indian Association of Luxembourg (IAL) will host the 2024 Diwali Gala at LuxExpo to celebrate this year’s celebration of the traditional Hindu holiday.
This morning, the president of the organisation, Sahil Goel, came to the Today Radio studios to discuss the details and information surrounding the Festival of Lights, and encouraged listeners to attend.

Open to everyone, The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) is having a Divali 2024 gala, held at LuxExpo on Saturday 26 October 26th from 17:30.
Naturally, the Gala will have delicious Indian cuisine served to guests to commence the night, and the event’s entertainment includes two Indian dance troops travelling from Ghent and Luxembourg to perform customary Bollywood style performances. A DJ and Dohl/Drum player will also be in attendance to keep the night lively, and help foster a celebration of the Indian holiday. You do not want to miss this!
This big event is expected to attract over 600 people, so be sure to get your tickets by 15 October if you want in on the fun, food, and friends. Children up to five are free, ages 6 - 12 are €20, and adult tickets are €40 (€60 for non members). Discounts are available for paying members of the Indian Association of Luxembourg. The Diwali 2024 Gala begins at 17:30 and goes until 2:00 - all are welcome to join the party!
