The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 15 October, 2023, from 9 am to 12 pm at the Youth Hostel Echternach.
Carrie Cannon, the president, and founding member of Think Pink Luxembourg, along with committee member Freda Deed, made an appearance on the Same Steen show at 8 am on Tuesday morning to discuss the upcoming Race for the Cure 2023 at the Youth Hostel in Echternach. You can listen to the full interview on RTL Play or via the player below.
This Sunday 15 October marks the 5th edition of the race, with a goal to gather more than 350 participants. It's important to note that Race for the Cure isn't merely a competitive race but a community event. The primary objectives are to raise funds, show support for individuals affected by cancer, and stand by those who have battled or are currently battling this disease. It's an occasion to come together, have a great time while wearing pink, and extend support to one another.
Participants can join the event in groups with the first set taking off at 10.30 am and the final group departing at 12.30 pm. To get involved, create a team name and register. Feel free to bring your friends, children, and pets on leads to join in the spirit of solidarity.
If the weather is favorable, there will be grilled food available to enjoy.
