1. Celebrate Halloween with a ghostly tour

1 November is a public holiday, celebrating All Saints’ Day, and some may also be trick-or-treating around Halloween. Discover the dark side of Luxembourg City’s fortress and many other sombre legends by joining a guided tour through the upper old town and the Grund district. Tours are two hours and start at 5.30pm.

2. See ‘Double Dutch’ comedian Derek

Join Derek in an autumn EU tour of his sell-out hit show Double Dutch: Live – 75 minutes of stand-up, characters, and sketches about living between the Netherlands, UK and the US. Following a sold-out run of over 100 shows around the Netherlands and the UK, Derek is embarking on an EU tour with his very best material. Known from @letsdoubledutch on Instagram with nearly 400K followers.

3. Pay tribute to local legend Michel Pilz

Musicians from Luxembourg and abroad are paying tribute to the life and legacy of Michel Pilz, a legendary bass-clarinetist from the Grand Duchy. This unique concert promises a beautiful journey through time, revisiting cherished tunes and sharing stories of Michel’s remarkable life and work. Come and be a part of it.

4. Find vinyl gems at Rotondes

A while back, the fair resembled a secret gathering of enthusiasts in search of hidden gems. Now the Record Fair is the best way to spend Sundays for anyone who loves hearing the crackle of their favourite songs on vinyl. Yet again, over fifty record stores from across France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands will make sure their stalls are jam-packed with vinyl records and CDs, as well as a large selection of DVDs, Blu-ray discs and turntables.

5. Visit career day for young adults in law

What: Law firms and companies in one place

Quite a niche event for most of our readers, but a great place to be for young adults entering the world of law. The Luxembourgish law students association is organising its fourth job recruitment fair, a great place to start if you’re looking for your first internship or job. This event is open to all law students and recent graduates interested in a legal career in Luxembourg, regardless of where they study or live.

6. Join Luxembourg’s biggest LAN party

Pay for a seat amongst 100 gamers and participate in three days of LAN game parties, the biggest of its kind in Luxembourg. Catering, sleeping areas, sanitary facilities and everything else you may need is provided, you just have to bring your own gaming-setup.

7. Join DIY art workshops
