1. See tennis stars compete in Luxembourg

What: Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters

Watch former world tennis stars play at the Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters. 2. Visit Vianden Tattoo Convention

Join 50 tattoo artists from across the world at the 23rd Vianden Tattoo Convention. Live traditional by-hand tattooing plus Samoa and Maori tapping and Japanese Tebori. There will be food trucks, DJs, and the chance to stock up on clothes and body jewellery.

3. See last screenings from Central and Eastern Europe

The annual CinEast festival shines a spotlight on Central and Eastern European cinema, with Croatia being the country of focus this year. After dozens of screenings, talks with directors, invited actors, a concert and exhibition programme, the festival comes to a close this Sunday. Grab the last tickets now.

4. Celebrate Hunnefeier

What: End of grape harvest

To mark the end of the annual grape harvest, head to Schengen for the Hunnefeier, an unusual festival which honours an ancient custom where on the last day of the harvest a living cockerel was tied to the end of the last row of vines to be harvested. The winegrower who harvested the fastest won the bird as a prize. Today the celebration has been replaced with a craft market with over 100 stalls, an exhibition of historic tractors and live music as well as the chance for a first taste of this year’s vintage.

5. Celebrate all things sneakers

6. Take a tour of the ECJ

What: European Court of Justice

The Court of Justice of the European Union is holding its annual Open Day this Saturday, allowing visitors a peak into the Court, its buildings and learn about how it works. Tours are being held in several languages. Don’t miss this opportunity to see what goes on at the heart of EU law.

7. See Chilly Gonzales

What: Pianist, songwriter, producer

Chilly Gonzales, the versatile and genre-defying Canadian pianist, returns to the Philharmonie with his signature stage essentials: a piano, a satin dressing gown, and slippers.
