Get ready for non-stop excitement andfood at Luxembourg’s iconic fun fair, the Schueberfouer, running for 20 days until 11 September. From delicious Gromperekichelcher to bumper cars and terrifying rides, this is the most fun you can have in Luxembourg – an not to miss in August.

Open Floor Hip Hop is a free dance space dedicated to freestyle hip hop, inviting participants from all backgrounds and levels every Thursday night to Rotondes. Join the community and learn together.

Discover unopened sets, bargains, boxes filled with pieces and special collections at the largest Playmobil exhibition in Bascharage. There’s a big raffle too, with all proceeds going to Fondatioun kriibskrank Kanner, which helps children with cancer.

Sunset Cinema has set up shop in Esch-sur-Alzette this weekend for free nightly screenings of Barbie and Ratatouille on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively – both in English. Come on down!

Think Tuareg nomads, camel trains, endless Sahara, and the wild frontier of the Old West: Tinariwen take you their with their mix of traditional West African and Arab music. Formed on the borders of Mali and Algeria in 1979, the group’s music is authentic blues and folk.

Pop into Carlitos Comedy Club on Friday night for their weekly pub quiz/trivia night. Six rounds with nine questions each, grab your tickets, sign up as a team and take home the grand prize (which we have no idea what it is).

Every Sunday you can take part in a free English guided tour of the exhibition “The Luxembourg Story: More than 1,000 years of urban history” at the City Museum. This is the best place to learn about our country’s history.
