Fete de la Musique is a major celebration each year, with loads of free concerts taking place in cities around the country, but the pinnacle is the one in Dudelange. The city turns into one big party and there are stages all over the place. Bounce around the city and discover all different types of music from local and international bands. Acts include Michael Schulte, Francis of Delirium, Jack Curley and ClockClock.

Dress up as a knight or just visit the medieval market at the Medieval Festival in scenic Useldange. The event includes artisanal stalls, musicians and minstrels, a fire show, combats, childrens’ activities, and medieval food and drink.

It’s the opening weekend of the UEFA EURO 2024, a competition unfortunately this time again without Luxembourg. Public viewing at the Glacis will begin on 29 June with the final round of sixteen, but before numerous sports bars are screening matches. Germany will play Scotland at 9pm on Friday for the opener.

Canada’s Ballet BC is back in Luxembourg after their 2022 residency at the city’s theatre, presenting various performances by Johan Inger, the Opstal siblings and Medhi Walerski. Don’t miss this captivating evening of contemporary dance that pushes boundaries and tugs at the heartstrings.

Intercepted juxtaposes the horrific destruction in Ukraine with the atrocities committed by the Russian army, revealed through intercepted phone conversations of Russian soldiers released by the Ukrainian Secret Service.

This Saturday all youth centres in Luxembourg open their doors to the public to inform about their offers. Come discover the activities, familiarise yourself with staff and facilities and learn first-hand about their educational concept. They’re a great place to hang out, play games and do homework after school.

The monthly Glacismaart is back. Taking place every third Sunday of the month, it’s an unmissable meeting place for Sunday walkers, looking for fruits and vegetables, culinary delicacies, flowers, and plants.
