Welcome to the weekend! Go to the USINA24 festival, taste local cider, support the Red Cross bazar, geek out at old games, get stuffed at food festival, see art in the Grund or hop on the bouncy castle in Hesperange!

1. Hear curated music line-up at USINA24

USINA24 unites some of Luxembourg’s biggest cultural players at one festival: More than a dozen key figures contribute to the event and curate the artistic programme of Saturday and Sunday. As with previous editions, USINA24 will feature a variety of cultural activities, theatrical performances, installations, and a line-up including JORIS, CRO, English Teacher, Chaild, Kids With Buns, C’est Karma, TALI, Say Yes Dog, Balming Tiger and more. Day one is €59, day two is free.

2. Support Red Cross bazar

The Luxembourg Red Cross organises a monthly bazar to raise funds. Find second-hand furniture and clothing, accessories, children’s games and other good deals, all for a good cause. Every first Friday and Saturday of the month.

3. Taste local cider and play family games

Artisan Luxembourg cider producer Ramborn Cider Co. opens its doors to celebrate World Cider Day at the Ramborn Cider Haff in Rosport. Not only will the team there demonstrate its passion for making cider with you and take you around the orchard-filled meadows, but there will be free cider tastings, live music, cornhole games and food. Kids obviously also get to try all the delicious alcohol free juices produced here.

4. See art market in the Grund

What: Artists on the street
Where: Rue Münster, Grund
When: Sunday, 2 June between 10am-6pm - FREE - more info here

Every first Sunday of the month between May and October, the Grund transforms into an open-air art exhibition and market. It’s really picturesque: Artists sit on Rue Münster and the bridge overlooking the Alzette river - that in itself is worth the visit. You’ll find paintings, ceramics, woodwork, metal, sculptures by about 20 artists from around the world.

5. Get stuffed at Street Food Festival

What: Food trucks
Where: 3 Place des Rotondes, 2448 Bonnevoie
When: Saturday, 1 June between 12-10pm, Sunday, 2 June between 12-6pm – more info here

This weekend, 12 trucks are parked up outside Rotondes for the Street Food Festival, welcoming you to a full day of treating your taste buds. Come find delicious Asian, European, South and North American dishes. Showing up early is recommended, as the event (and thus queues) tend to fill up quite quickly.

6. Geek out at Geek Foire

What: Old games, comics and more
Where: 3 Place des Rotondes, 2448 Bonnevoie

Need a day to geek out with old games, figurines and series? Head down to Rotondes on Saturday and Sunday to meet like-minded manga, comics and card-games fans at the Geek Foire. Your childhood is now a part of pop culture!

7. Enjoy a family weekend in Hesperange

What: Fun for kids
Where: Municipal park Hesperange
When: Saturday, 1 June between 2-6pm, Sunday, 2 June between 10am-6pm - info & tickets

Hesperange park is being transformed into a big playground featuring bouncy castles, workshops and all kinds of entertainment for the little ones. Come along for food and drinks as well as tickets are €10 for one day and €15 for two days.
