Experience the multi-faceted genius of actor, filmmaker and composer Charlie Chaplin in this stunning re-creation of his 1931 silent romantic comedy film City Lights. The score, composed by Chaplin himself, perfectly captures the emotions of his simple and sincere principal characters. The music is performed live by the Luxembourg Philharmonic under Anthony Gabriele’s lead. Tickets are sold out, but a handful will be available at the box office, so come early and you may get lucky!

In her 60 years in South Korea, Eun-Me Ahn has seen political, economic and cultural transformation. Her choreography is often inspired by such rapid change, fusing East with the West. Following Dancing Grandmothers and Dragons, Eun-Me Ahn returns this season with Koshigi Monologue, based on interviews with older women about their first sexual experiences in post-war Korea. Nine dancers embody the coy, sometimes sad and angry testimonies of ignorance, social pressure, arranged marriage, violence and their resignation in the absence of a way out. While progress has been made, we are left with the overwhelming feeling that there is still a long way to go.
