The music and art festival Pëttener Summer Nights takes place in the ruins of Pettingen Castle near Mersch, focusing on sustainability and local artists. Music ranges from folk to hip hop and jazz, as well as art exhibitions and workshops for kids (such as making your own flute or learning about medieval music). Tickets available for the entire weekend or single days.

The ‘Concerts de midi’ have been part of a 40-year tradition by the city’s tourist office to offer free concerts in special places. On Friday, due to the rain, the concert by Summarorchester from Sweden takes place in the Protestant Church of Luxembourg. Pop in at 12.15pm and the concert will be finished within an hour, all completely free.

Similar to July, on the first Sunday of the summer months, dozens of international and local artists gather in the Grund for a pop-up art exhibition. Vintage cars and bikes are on display in Steinfort this weekend. Taking place for the 9th time, the expo brings together all kinds of vintage enthusiasts. Not only can you see vehicles, but also buy spare parts, find old documents, literature and miniature versions. The event is totally free.
