In Anne-Mareike Hess’ second solo performance Dreamer, the artist delves into her own femininity and questions the the stereotypes associated with women. Neimënster also welcomes back Larisa Faber‘s Stark Bollock Naked, inspired by her own experiences of social pressures related to the biological clock. She confronts the public with questions about female identity and does not hesitate to address ‘taboo subjects’ such as abortion and mental health.

Posters bear witness to social changes, prevailing tastes and mentalities. Despite digital mass media, the poster remains part of the public space and our collective visual memory. This exhibition provides an insight into the Luxembourg City Museum’s poster collection, comprising around 2,500 pieces from the fields of politics, administration, culture or advertising. At the same time, it illustrates the development of Luxembourg and international graphic design during the 20th century.
