The Luxembourg City Film Festival is becoming deeply rooted in Europe’s young festival landscape, screening not only the most exciting independent films of the moment but also attracting hundreds of film directors, screenwriters, producers, film critics and fans from across the continent and beyond. Since 2015, the 88th day of every year has been designated the Day of the Piano – in homage to the instrument’s 88 keys. In 2023, this day is celebrated all over the world on 29 March. The Philharmonie is putting the piano in the spotlight this month, presenting some outstanding pianists: This Sunday, Hélène Grimaud plays works by Bach, Beethoven and Schumann.

If you’re someone who thinks we should question everything about life, love, religion and politics then you’re going to love traveling Romanian comedian Victor Patrascan. He’s bringing his honest, thought-provoking and ‘unapologetic’ stand up comedy show to Luxembourg. Get ready for lots of dirty jokes, he says!

The VR Pavilion at Neimenster has been a popular success. It offers a unique opportunity to discover content specially designed for VR, always daring and original, which has won awards at the Venice Film Festival and the Tribeca Festival, among others. Go check it out - cool for kids too!

Since its creation by choreographer Xie Xin in Shanghai in 2014, the Xiexin Dance Theatre has gradually established itself as a major player in contemporary dance in China. With its show From IN, the company will perform for the first time at the Grand Theatre. The choreography has its origins in Chinese calligraphy and particularly in the ideogram 人, which is made up of two lines and means “Human”. An enigmatic and elegant dance between tradition and modernity.
