The biggest and best bazar of the year is back! Raising money for 43 charities this year, the Bazar International offers you a tour of the (almost entire) world, with around 60 countries present. Find local delicacies at each stand, hear regional music and performance and find unique handcrafts. To be fair, to most people, it’s about trying as much food from around the world as possible within one weekend. 😉 And hey, the RTL Today team will be present as well, so you’ll finally meet some of the faces behind these texts. In this workshop, children learn how to build and program robots with a robotics building block system by Robo Wunderkind. This is a great way to get kids excited about technology and science. With this system, robots can be built in a matter of minutes, whether that’s a magic torch, a traffic light or a racing car. The main language of the workshop is German, but the teacher/instructor may speak English as well.

Rockhal is all about film music on Sunday (and the legend Sting is playing Saturday, but that show is sold out). Film music truly is some of the most magical form of music out there, full of thick orchestras, killer melodies and guaranteed to pull you through a roller coaster ride of emotions. At 2pm, hear Lord of the Rings, R. R. Tolkien’s masterpiece, live in concert with orchestra, choir and the Tolkien Ensemble. In the evening at 7pm you can hear the music by legendary composer Hans Zimmer, who scored The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Inception and Interstellar. It’s the 8th edition of the Luxembourg Art Week, the first international contemporary art fair in the Grand Duchy. Both established and emerging galleries offer their works here. There’s a whole programme around the fair, including conferences, performances, screenings and guided tours, and is set to attract over 15,000 visitors overall. Take a guided group walk through the Härebësch near Koerich on the hunt for mushrooms! Participants should bring a small basket, mushroom knife and brush. The guide will show you which ones you can pick, and which ones are dangerous/poisonous and should definitely be avoided! The walk is free, but places are limited and reservations are required. For all lovers of jazz influenced by African music, hip-hop, funk, rock, fusion, jungle, Caribbean jazz and poetry: This artist collective presents “Great Black Music” as a source of moral truth and a powerful weapon against the scourge of racism. It is composed by artists who continue to fight for equality and social justice through music, including David Gilmore, Reggie Washington, Tutu Puoane, Gene Lake and many, many more.
