The Agora Music Festival is hosting two concerts at Vianden Castle this weekend. On Saturday, London-based guitarist Giacomo Susani is joined by three string players. On Sunday, Luxembourg’s David Ianni will present new compositions as well as Bach and Mozart with the Agora Music Festival Orchestra. Tickets can be purchased for individual nights.

There’s quite a family-friendly party taking place at Rotondes this weekend: Pogo Loko! Children from four years old are invited to party together with their parents to the freshest beats and tunes offered by the line-up of DJs and artists, including Spudbencer, The Looped Orchestra, Ourk and Alaska Gold Rush. Everything is welcome, as long as they bring along their party shoes.

Discover the uplifting vibes of Afro-Venezuelan rhythms in this workshop hosted by Gustavo Morales. Born and raised in Caracas, Morales masters numerous percussion instruments. This free masterclass will give you a personal and unique insight into his heritage and culture. PS: There’s also a folk-music workshop that same day with Grammy-nominated cuatro player and producer Jorge Glem. They are back-to-back, why not attend them both?

Fai Baba sings in the Swiss dialect. Since some major international tours, the guitarist and singer reflects on his own language, experiences, life and thoughts. Accompanied by a band on stage, he blends Swiss neo-folk with English rock’n’roll.

From this inventory of imagery, David Lynch fashions two separate but intersecting stories, one about a jazz musician, tortured by the notion that his wife is having an affair, who suddenly finds himself accused of her murder. The other is a young mechanic drawn into a web of deceit by a temptress who is cheating on her gangster boyfriend. These two tales are linked by the fact that the women in both are played by the same actress.

The Book Stand of the Bazar International de Luxembourg asbl will be holding its traditional Spring Book Sale at the ‘Am Duerf’ Salle des Fêtes in Weimerskirch. This is the organisation’s first Book Sale since 2019, for obvious reasons. The proceeds go to charities supported by the Bazar International.
