Altin Gün means “Golden Day” in Turkish, and it’s the best way to describe how the band wants to make you feel when you listen to their poetic music, beautifully crafted with a hint of modern and traditional sounds. Their new record firmly establishes the band, based out of Amsterdam, as masterful interpreters of the Anatolian rock and folk legacy, and as a leading voice in the emergent global psych scene. They were supposed to come to Luxembourg a while back, but now it’s finally happening!

What: Fun storytelling for children
Where: Theater Poppespennchen, 1 Place de Saintignon, L-4968 Lasauvage
When: Sunday, 5 December at 3.30pm - info & tickets
The puppet theatry house Poppespënnchen in Lasauvage (the first of such kind in Luxembourg) welcomes you to a German performance of “Lebkuchenherz” (gingerbread heart). Despite the Christmas hustle and bustle and busy bakeries, little Minchen is sad. He would love to have a gingerbread heart, but his grandfather cannot grant him his humble wish. He lost a big bag of money in the dark forest, which is nestled with danger...Minchen can call himself lucky that the young audience is going to help him on his quest so he can celebrate a wonderful Christmas in time!
