Monday’s Covid figures have placed Luxembourg in a critical position as once more the per-capita mortality rate rises.
The ten additional deaths recorded on Monday now takes the total to 236 and is the joint highest number of deaths since the pandemic began.
Both the PM and the Health Minister are expected to take a harder line on containment measures as criticism on the government’s approach mounts.
