New to Luxembourg and keen to discover the city? Or have you lived here forever and hope to discover something new? Either way, this may be for you!

After last year's success, the  "Guide For One Day" project has been continued and will take place again this summer. From the end of June to 15 September, guides will have the chance to introduce guests to the country and show them all the highlights Luxembourg has to offer.

If you're free on 1 September and want to discover some of the known and lesser known sights that Luxembourg City has to offer, why not register for a walking tour with Georges Hengesch? The hike starts at Glacis at 9.30 am on 1 September. A maximum of 10 people can register. But beware, a decent fitness level may be required as the hike, according to the description, is 12km long and might take up to 16 hours.

Fancy becoming a guide yourself?  Everyone can apply as a guide and show a group of maximum 10 people around the country. You can apply here.

And remember, even Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel escaped the political sphere for a day and showed 25 people his favourite spots in Luxembourg City.
