On Thursday, Grand Duke Henri was presented with a gift at Berg Castle to thank him for his work as the Luxembourg army's Commander-in-Chief.

As a sign of recognition of the former Grand Duke’s engagement and support as Commander-in-Chief, members of the Luxembourg Army gifted him with a motorbike helmet in the Nassau family colours.

The former head of state welcomed a delegation of army officers and members of the committee of the Professional Association of Luxembourgish Officers (APOL) at Berg Castle. Lieutenant-Colonels Schaber, Lesch and Lamesch presented Grand Duke Henri with his gift.

The former Grand Duke expressed delight at the gift and offered his guests a heartfelt thanks.
